**"Cognition quickly and effectively understood our technical landscape and how best to optimize it to reduce costs and increase adoption – something that we’d been struggling to address for years!**”

**Matt MeyerCEO
@ Taylor Vinters**

## The Brief

Taylor Vinters knew they needed to invest in their IT to improve ways of working, but due to a combination of legacy systems and siloed decisioning they didn’t know what they had and where to start.

## What we did

We explored how to consolidate and upgrade Taylor Vinters' IT systems by:

- Working closely with the exec team to understand their goals and concerns.
- Performing a system audit to understand the existing tech landscape.
- Interviewing users on their experiences with core systems.
- Mapping overlaps in their tech landscape.
- Identifying business risks within IT.

## What was the outcome

We provided a detailed report which included:

- How to consolidate the client's tech landscape to streamline processes and reduce licence costs by 28%.
- Tech Design Principles to smash through siloes by embedding structured and collaborative decisioning.
- Restructuring their innovation team to capture user feedback on systems and deliver continuous improvement.

## The Cognition Difference

With our people-centric approach we:

- Identified quick wins to improve user adoption.
- Coached the exec team on how to maintain a streamlined and effective tech landscape.
- Focussed on how to get optimal value from the systems they’d already invested in.
