The Brief

Williams Lea were at the initial stage of setting up their Automation CoE, but needed expert guidance to set it up for success and embed automation across the business.

What we did

We provided expert guidance and support for the first nine months of Williams Lea's CoE programme to:

  • Design and embed the governance model and best practices for an end-to-end approach.
  • Assess and optimise UiPath within their automation framework.
  • Create an automation champion network around the business to support with user adoption.
  • Identify and prioritise automation use cases
  • Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) and deliver them into production.

What was the outcome

We worked as an extension of the Williams Lea team to:

  • Programme-manage their automation pipeline to ensure feasibility, viability and desirability.
  • Deliver four high-value POCs into production. 
  • Establish a network of 25 automation champions across the business.
  • Upskill and support their development resources to become self-sufficient.

  • Embed the change management needed to ensure user engagement and adoption of automation initiatives.
  • Provide our expertise to avoid common pitfalls and accelerate time-to-value.

  • Support Williams Lea up until they were set up to run the CoE independently.
