Few areas of business have felt the impact of the last year more than IT – perhaps with the exception of HR. But the pressure on the IT team to reassess priorities, maintain BAU, deliver secure remote working and more recently deliver efficiencies as well as drive a return to innovation and growth, has been immense. We launched our Pulse survey during the pandemic to speak directly to 177 businesses in the UK, US and Europe and the senior IT workers in those businesses, to find out how things have been for them.
We asked how the impact of technology has shifted over the past year, what had delivered on or exceeded expectations and their plans for the next year. In the first of three reports to be released on the data, we summarise some of the key findings.
